Accessibility statement
pipeit is meant to work for everyone. Here is how this website is made accessible, what you can adjust and how to report a barrier.
Our benchmark
This website follows the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA and the European standard EN 301 549. They are the technical basis of the accessibility requirements in the European Union, in Germany under the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG).
What is in place
- Every function works with the keyboard and shows a visible focus.
- A skip link leads straight to the content.
- Headings, landmarks and labels are structured for screen readers.
- Product illustrations have text alternatives.
- Text contrast is at least 4.5:1, in the light and the dark appearance.
- Pages work at 200% zoom and from 320 pixels width without horizontal scrolling.
- Nothing flashes or plays on its own; motion is switched off when you prefer reduced motion.
- All content can be read without JavaScript.
- English and German are marked up with the correct language.
Adjust the display
Use the Accessibility button at the right edge of the screen to change text size, contrast, link underlining, text spacing and motion. The website also respects the settings of your browser and operating system, such as dark mode, zoom and reduced motion.
How we check
We check the pages with automated WCAG 2.2 A/AA checks in the light and dark appearance, at desktop and mobile sizes, and by hand with keyboard and zoom. This statement is based on our own assessment.
Known limits
Apps, app stores and the pipeit web app are separate offers with their own accessibility information. Product illustrations show example screens; their content is described in text.
Report a barrier
Have you run into a barrier, or do you need content in another form? Tell us. We will get back to you and fix it.
