Keep folders in step
Choose the folders you want on a device – in Finder, Explorer or the Files app. Changes made offline are applied when you are back online. If two devices change the same file, both versions are kept.
Search: find the file, not the folder.
Search your cloud by file name or by what is inside. Small typos are fine.
Names and content
Results match file names and, for supported file types, the text inside files. Matches are highlighted so you can see why a file was found.
Forgiving by design
A typo or a half-remembered word still finds the file. Use filters to narrow down long result lists.
Large collections stay usable
Results arrive in pages and keep their order while you scroll, so you do not lose your place.
Only what you can open
Search shows files you currently have access to. If access is removed, the files disappear from your results.
Good to know
- Content search works because pipeit Cloud can read what you store there. Files you send directly are end-to-end encrypted and are not part of cloud search.
