Versions and restore: go back when something goes wrong.

pipeit keeps earlier versions of your files and a trash for deleted ones, so a mistaken edit or deletion can be undone.

Earlier versions

Open a file’s history and restore the version you want.

A trash for deleted files

Deleted files go to the trash first. Restore them from there as long as the retention period has not passed.

Whole folders

Restore a folder as it was. You see what will change before you confirm.

Versions use storage

Earlier versions and items in the trash count toward your storage. A file that appears in several versions or folders is counted once.

How long versions are kept

Personal accounts keep versions and trash for 30 days, business workspaces for 90 days.

Good to know

  • Moving to a smaller plan deletes nothing and does not shorten a retention period that already applies to your files.
  • After the retention period has passed, a version or a deleted file can no longer be restored.
